No Limits. Just Life.
A webcast on the future for people with disabilities
Strong currents of change--both promising and threatening--are changing the global landscape in a way that will redefine the very idea of disability.
Experience the future during the No Limits. Just Life. 2007 UCP Annual Conference Opening Plenary from the comfort of your own conference room. During the webcast, Dr. Bob Johansen, an Institute for the Future's Distinguished Fellow, will highlight the waves of change that will shape the lives of people with disabilities over the next decade--and how these same people will use their abilities to explore the emerging edges of what it means to be human. Dr. Johansen will walk through the Big Sky Project's* new forecast map of the future for people with disabilities, drawing upon several digital stories to bring it to life and provoke thought about Big Sky innovations.
Stephen Bennett, President/CEO of United Cerebral Palsy, and Tom O'Donnell, UCP Board Chair and long-time legal advocate for children with disabilities, will also share their insights about where the disability community stands today and what to expect tomorrow. Bennett has over 30 years of success in business development, healthcare consulting and non-profit management. O'Donnell, a partner with Polsinelli Shalton Flanigan Suelthaus in Kansas City, MO, represents various clients on health care law and related issues.
