Justice Department Announces Settlement with Car Rental Companies to Assure Accessible Transportation at Airports
The Justice Department announced a settlement (October 2003) in an Americans with Disabilities Act case involving Alamo and National Rental Cars. Travelers with disabilities had filed complaints with the Department of Justice claiming the car rental companies did not provide accessible shuttle service between airport terminals and the car rental lots. The car rental companies have agreed to provide accessible airport shuttle buses on a nationwide basis.
