Merwin Special Kids Day

PacifiCorp, 825 NE Multnomah, Suite 300
    Portland, OR 97232
The Merwin Special Kids Day is a memorable day of fishing for kids with disabilities. Sponsors including Washington Fish and Wildlife, C.A.S.T for Kids, Pacific Power and many more get geared up to get special kids “hooked” on fishing. The event consists of lots of fishing, activities, a barbecue lunch and plenty of fun. Besides making new friends and having an experience they might not otherwise receive, each child is given an award for participating. The Merwin Special Kids Fishing Day occurs each July. The event takes place at the Merwin Fish Hatchery, just outside Woodland, Wash., at the area’s only wheelchair accessible hatchery.
