    The Illinois Assistive Technology Project (IATP) is a statewide, nonprofit agency, in its fifteenth year of service. It was one of the first nine states funded under the Technology-Related Assistance for Individuals with Disabilities Act of 1988, as amended. IATP's mission is to break down barriers that prevent people with disabilities from accessing the assistive technology that lets them to learn, work, play and live in the community.
