Education Options
The centerpiece of the education laws for students with disabilities is that students’ educational plans must be designed to meet their individual needs. UCP promotes high quality services, access to general curriculum and opportunity to be educated with non-disabled peers.
In addition, individuals with disabilities should be offered the same access to continuing education opportunities as non-disabled individuals. UCP promotes support to individuals who wish to avail themselves of these opportunities as well as assistance to organizations and entities that provide the educational opportunities.
