Thomas O’Donnell
Thomas O’Donnell is an attorney and past Chair of the Health Practice Group for the Kansas City based law firm Polsinelli Shalton & Welte, P.C. As legal counsel to a variety of health management organizations, he has expertise in state and federal managed care regulatory issues, development of provider contracts and compliance issues including the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA). He is also a member of the American Health Lawyers Association and is a member of several of its practice groups.
O’Donnell is a long time professional and community advocate for children with special needs, long term care and special education. He is the former President of UCP of Greater Kansas City, and previously served on the national UCP Board.
