National Council on Disability Releases 2003 Progress Report
On July 25, 2003, The National Council on Disability (NCD) released a report, National Disability Policy: A Progress Report. The report covers the period from December 2001 through December 2002 and reviews federal policy activities in a number of issue areas, from civil rights to health care; from housing to homeland security. The report notes progress where it has occurred and makes recommendations where necessary to the executive and legislative branches of the Federal Government.
