To Participate in United Cerebral Palsy (UCP) 60 Years and Onward Celebration
(Washington, DC) – Emmy-nominated actress and United Cerebral Palsy (UCP) Board Trustee Cheryl Hines; ABC News “Nightline’s” Terry Moran; and Assistant Secretary Kathy Martinez, Office of Disability Employment Policy (ODEP), U.S. Department of Labor, will participate in the United Cerebral Palsy (UCP) 60 Years and Onward Celebration, this Wednesday, September 30, 6:30 – 8:30 pm at the Four Seasons Hotel, Salon A, 2800 Pennsylvania Ave, NW, Washington, DC.
United Cerebral Palsy’s 60 Years and Onward Celebration will celebrate the efforts of those committed to advancing UCP’s important mission of a Life Without Limits for people with disabilities. With Terry Moran as Master of Ceremonies, the evening will feature ‘Toasts, Tastes and Testimonials’ to salute, celebrate and benefit UCP, including a video tribute to UCP’s past success and future promise. Finally, Cheryl Hines will present awards to several deserving honorees for their immeasurable commitment to improving the lives of people with disabilities.
The Celebration will follow UCP’s Forum earlier in the afternoon, 2009 Life Without Limits Economic Forum: Extreme Users Drive Economic Value, which will focus on creating and expanding opportunities for organizations by integrating and aligning disability initiatives with core business objectives. Assistant Secretary Kathy Martinez, Office of Disability Employment Policy (ODEP), U.S. Department of Labor, will provide the keynote speech at the Forum.
