The Eastern Transvaal Cerebral Palsy Association was established in June, 1964 and, considering the needs of the cerebral palsy child, worked towards the establishment of an educational centre for them. The magnificent Muriel Brand School in Brenthurst, Brakpan and the Vita Nova Centre in Springs, South Africa are the Associations responsibility.
