Employment: Employment Supports
UCP believes that all persons, regardless of disability, have the right to work in the community for a competitive wage with the same dignity and respect as other people. In some situations, accommodations and/or assistive technology will be utilized to enhance success on the job. These are called employment supports. Often times, trained staff provide support for both the employee and the employer, by constantly adapting services to meet the needs of the people being served.
