Mission & History

The United Cerebral Palsy mission is to advance the independence, productivity and full citizenship of people with disabilities through an affiliate network.

United Cerebral Palsy (UCP) may be the one of the largest health charities in America today - but that wasn't the case in 1949. UCP would not be here today assisting thousands of people with disabilities and their families if it hadn't been for a group of parents who wanted to change the world for their children.

You hear from those who were there and those who helped produce the United Cerebral Palsy telethons of the past. Moving into the future United Cerebral Palsy is moving onward, toward a Life Without Limits for People with Disabilities.
