New Opportunities

Ryan Gibson is a huge Oregon Ducks fan. He is one of those 9-year olds who wouldn’t miss a game no matter what. He is a boy who loves jokes and being outside with this family and friends. Oh, and Ryan has cerebral palsy. If Ryan gets a cold, he can stop breathing because his CP interrupts his ability to breathe normally. But Ryan is a fighter and a kid who lives life to the fullest!

Most recently Ryan did something he’s never done before--he and his family went golfing for the first time last Sunday. His mother Joy said, “We had a great time getting out into the sunshine with Ryan and our family. This was a great first time outing, we need to do it again next year! Golf is our new favorite thing.”

At every turn UCP is there to help families like Ryan’s with new and low cost opportunities to experience life and become involved in their communities. Such events are part of our on-going commitment to build A Community for Everyone.
