President’s Hobby Benefits UCP of PA
United Cerebral Palsy of Pennsylvania Board President Glenn Hoffman acquired a new hobby last year that will benefit the organization. While recuperating from surgery, Glenn learned how to crochet. He found the process to be relaxing and became skilled at making beautiful afghans. Soon family and friends wanted one and he decided to sell them and donate the proceeds to UCP of PA. He has since made them for co-workers and UCP of PA board members. He is pictured here presenting a Penn State blue and white afghan to Executive Director, Joan Martin, at the March Board of Directors meeting. Glenn will accept orders to make the two-color afghans that are 66 inches square. The cost is $75, of which Glenn donates $50 to UCP of PA.
