New Child Development Group in Chambersburg!
United Cerebral Palsy of South Central Pennsylvania currently has openings in their Peach Tree Kids’ Child Development Group for children ages eighteen months to four years of age. The Child Development Group meets Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. This group is located at the Chambersburg Christian and Missionary Alliance Church at 230 Siloam Road. The group is open to both children with special needs and typically developing children. There is a one-time $20.00 registration fee and a monthly fee of $35.00 a month for one day per week.
During the sessions, structured activities occur that foster speech development, social development and self-help development. The group provides activities that are developmentally appropriate for this age group. Equipment and furniture are designed to be accessible by all toddlers, regardless of their physical capabilities. The Child Development Group’s class size is limited to a small number, providing more one-on-one interactions between the children and their teachers.
