It's Time For Summer Casual Shirts

MOBILE, AL – United Cerebral Palsy (UCP) of Mobile announced today that the 20th Annual Summer Casual Day will be held on Friday, June 19th.

What is Summer Casual? On that Friday, participating Mobile and Eastern Shore businesses will allow their employees to work in casual clothes in exchange for a donation to United Cerebral Palsy. For a minimum contribution of $5, each participant will be rewarded with a Summer Casual themed gift. Every eighteen dollar ($18) donation will earn an authentic 2009 Summer Casual t-shirt. UCP is requesting that all business participants wear their t-shirts on the 19th.

“The Music of Summer” is this year’s theme. The artwork was created by Suné, owner of Taste! Wine Shop and a friend of UCP. She is a wonderfully talented local artist who lent her talents to help United Cerebral Palsy of Mobile with its 20th anniversary shirt.

All funds raised go directly to UCP’s services and programs, such as, Preschool, Early Intervention, and Supported Employment.
