UCP Ladies Golf Classic
17 years of the UCP Ladies Golf Classic and 40 years of UCP of East Central Florida providing services to the region were reasons to celebrate on May 12, 2009.
UCP of East Central Florida held its seventeenth consecutive ladies golf classic on a sunny spring day. While none of the golfers hit a hole in one, several played close to par and enjoyed the friendly female competition and prizes. Once again, there were plenty of door prizes to choose from and back by popular demand was the ice cream bar after a delicious lunch!
UCP of East Central Florida is also proudly celebrating 40 years of providing services to the region since 1969. They provide services in Volusia, Flagler, St Johns, Putnam, Lake and Marion counties and serves more than 600 individuals with both physical and developmental disabilities. UCP has three main focuses which are to train people to work in the community to help people secure work, and to help them live in the community.
