Sign Up for Disability Mentoring Day
Disability Mentoring Day enables students and job seekers to spend all or part of a day visiting a business, a non-profit agency or government agency that matches their interests and more! As a mentor, you can be matched individually with a student or job seeker so you can share more about your typical work day and provide insight about how to prepare for your particular career field.
Applications to be a mentor are now being accepted by United Cerebral Palsy of East Central FL. Last year, there were many mentees who applied to participate but were unable to because of the shortage of mentors, so please consider being a mentor!
Take part in Disability Mentoring Day on October 21, 2009 or another day that's more convenient for you. Help mentees to build confidence about their own employability!
