CATE - California Assistive Technology Exchange

The San Diego Assistive Technology Center is part of a state wide effort to bring assistive technology to people with disabilities in California

The San Diego Assistive Technology Center is a designated site for the CATE project to offer loans of assistive technology equipment to residents of San Diego County.

Who Are We?

CATE is a project under the leadership of the Center on Disabilities (COD) and the National Center on Deafness (NCOD) at the California State University, Northridge (CSUN).


What Is Our Mission?

Our mission is to enhance the quality of life for Californians with disabilities by providing them with assistive technology (AT) devices and by innovating the loan process.
