Full Time

Complete home repairs, including dry wall, minor plumbing, electrical, and painting in all metro-Atlanta group homes, and in Dahlonega. Also, implement a preventive maintenance program on sites and vehicles.

To be considered, applicant must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent; 5-10 years multi-site maintenance; sound working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry; must have tools. Ideal applicant will possess the skills to complete repairs listed but not limited to… -Basic carpentry and roof repair -Electrical repairs related to average single family home -Plumbing repairs, including installation of fixtures and water heaters and soldering skills -Sheetrock patching / finishing -Painting -Household appliance repair (i.e. washer dryer stove dishwasher) -HVAC is a plus but not required

Technician is required to interact with outside contractors, UCP staff and residents. Technician must have e mail and internet access and ability to use in a business environment.

This position is Full Time, Mon.-Fri. 8am – 4:30 pm, applicant must agree to be “On Call” for after hours emergencies as deemed necessary by supervisor

Position includes a “take home” vehicle (truck-van), eligible for health & dental benefits, 403b retirement account, life insurance and vacation package.

Rate of pay is $12.00 – $13.00 per hour based on experience.
