What is Recycle for UCP?
United Cerebral Palsy of Georgia has partnered with BCS Recycling Specialists to implement the “Recycle for UCP” Program.
This partnership enables UCP to work with BCS in order to recycle laptops, cell phones, Lexmark and HP Inkjets, and PDAs to raise money for UCP of Georgia.A portion of the recycling proceeds benefit UCP of GA services.
How does it work?
BCS provides the recycling collection boxes with the UCP logo and tagline that can be placed in office buildings, retail outlets, and other public locations. Once the box is full, all one has to do is flip open the lid, where a prepaid FedEx Freight slip is attached. The FedEx freights, both outgoing and incoming, are paid for by BCS. Each box also has a white sticker that signifies the return location so that a new recycling box can be sent.
