United Cerebral Palsy of Georgia's Annual Board Meeting

United Cerebral Palsy of Georgia held its Annual Board Meeting and election of officers on September 16th, 2009 at the Intercontinental Hotel in Atlanta.Immediately, following the annual meeting a reception was held to honor the service of the Board Members as well as acknowledge the contributions of time and talent by community members. Ouida Spencer-Board Chair of United Cerebral Palsy of Georgia welcomed the guests, who included new and current board members as well as community volunteers. Ms. Spencer presented community recognition awards, and shared with everyone the future goals of UCP. Honorees included Brenda Horne, President of Community Health Charities of Georgia, honored for her commitment to UCP’s mission and for expanding the work place giving campaigns throughout Georgia. Additionally, Timothy McFadden, State Farm Senior Vice-President- Southern Zone and a UCP Board Member, was honored for his involvement as a great corporate citizen and for his commitment to supporting our work by assisting UCP in achieving its mission of a Life Without Limits for individuals with developmental disabilities.
