United Cerebral Palsy of Georgia Named Charitable Beneficiary
The 12th Annual State Farm Sponsored Collegiate Golf Tournament was held on June 27-June 29, 2009 at the Pine Tree Country Club in Kennesaw, Georgia. The event included three full days of golf on a championship 18-hole golf course dinner, prizes, and much more! Over 30 players golfed at the PineTree Country Club and enjoyed a day of fun while supporting a great cause. The money raised (over $3,000) which will go to support UCP’s Program and Services. On the behalf of all the individuals UCP serves we would like to thank State Farm and all the associates who participated in making the tournament a success! Additionally, we wish to thank all the sponsors, those who donated services and products, volunteers and players for making this such a successful fundraiser. We look forward to seeing you at the course next year!The host and national sponsor, State Farm®, pit some of its associates against several of the best collegiate players in the United States for the charitable event on Monday, July 27. The event included Southern Methodist University’s Aaron Stewart, son of the late PGA Tour golfer Payne Stewart. This marks the first year that UCP of Georgia has benefited from this event.
