UCP Welcomes New Executive Director
UCP of MN would like to welcome our Executive Director, Stacey Vogele, effective August 4, 2008. Ms. Vogele is a parent of three daughters; ages 18, 16, and seven. Her youngest daughter is seven years old and has cerebral palsy and epilepsy.
Stacey has worked tirelessly the past seven years to advocate for her child and others in the disability community. She has served on the boards of directors for two non profits, Merrick Inc., and Special Children's Center in Hudson, WI. She also serves on the Governor's Council on Developmental Disabilities and has participated in parent leadership training through both PACER and ARC.
She will be attending the Partners in Policymaking class this fall. She also serves on her local special education advisory council for her daughter's school district. Stacey is excited to look forward to reinvigorating the input from consumers and parents at United Cerebral Palsy and welcomes any suggestions or comments. You can reach her at 651-646-7588.
