UCP Advocacy Director Receives Award for Teamwork
In May 2008, Carmen Bartlett, Director of Advocacy for United Cerebral Palsy of Northwest Missouri, received an award acknowledging her role in helping to coordinate Northwest Missouri’s first annual Conference on Autism.
At their annual meeting in Kansas City, Missouri, The Missouri Rehabilitation Association acknowledged Bartlett and the three other members on the Autism Conference Planning Committee: Jamie Bachman, Sharon Courter, and Pam Schneeflock.
The group was nominated by a local vocational rehabilitation counselor who is a parent of a child with autism. The annual Teamwork Award is presented “for demonstrating outstanding work and making a significant contribution to the Rehabilitation Community” outside of The Missouri Rehabilitation Association.
