Alabama Lifespan Respite Resource Network

Alabama Lifespan Respite Resource Network (Alabama Respite) is a statewide project of UCP Huntsville. The Network maintains a directory of available respite services in all 67 counties of Alabama. Those services can be accessed through its web site at www.alabamarespite.org or by calling toll free 1-866-737-8252.
The project manager of Alabama Respite is available to groups and organizations to present information on the importance for caregivers to use respite and take care of themselves so that they may better care for their loved ones with disability or illness. Alabama Respite works with community groups, churches organizations and agencies to develop new sources for respite
This October Alabama Respite and UCP Huntsville will host the National Respite Conference in conjunction with the Alabama Cooperative Extension System, UCP of Alabama and ARCH, the National Respite Network. For more information on the conference, please contact:
