Florida Hurricane Relief Fund
-
401 S. Monroe Street
Tallahassee, FL 32301
Hurricane recovery is a long process, that can take five years or more. In 2004, Florida Governor Jeb Bush established the Florida Hurricane Relief Fund to assist Floridians with recovery needs not met by insurance or government funding. This Fund has become instrumental to recovery as hurricane seasons have intensified, and has served as a model to sister states in the Gulf, as well as to the nation. The mission of the Florida Hurricane Relief Fund is to raise funds to help Floridians with recovery through strengthening families and rebuilding communities.
