New Orleans, LA, and Metro Area Restaurant Accessibility Guide

  • In the fall of 2003, the Advocacy Center, in conjunction with Zagat's Restaurant Guide, completed a survey of restaurants in the New Orleans metro area. Each restaurant was surveyed for accessibility: whether a person using a wheelchair could enter the restaurant, be seated at a table, and use the restroom. Restaurants were not surveyed for full compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, rather, they were considered "accessible" if patrons using wheelchairs could enter, be seated at a table, and use the restrooms. Results of the survey are available for download.
