Provides educational and therapeutic programs. The school provides intense physical, occupational, and speech therapies, early intervention, respite care, preschool, and developmental services. Delrey's Preschool Program is for children ages two to six with cerebral palsy and other disabilities. Delrey also offers a Day Care Program for siblings of students and children of UCP staff members.At Delrey, the primary goal is to prepare each child intellectually, physically, and emotionally for entrance into the public school system. Therapists and accredited teachers work with children both individually and in groups, furnishing them with an outstanding educational experience. Students learn skills that will help them on a daily basis for the rest of their lives by using specially adapted utensils and equipment.
In addition to therapists and teachers, Delrey employs full-time social workers and a full-time nurse. Available to students and parents is specialized equipment that may be borrowed such as dynavox devices, toys with special adaptive switches, walkers, and standing devices.
