A System of Technology to Achieve Results (STAR) was created by the Technology Related Assistance for Individuals with Disabilities Act. STAR's activities are funded by the federal Assistive Technology Act of 1998. STAR informs Minnesotans about issues of assistive technology, opens the door to assistive technology for the citizens of Minnesota through state and federal legislation, works with state agencies and builds/maintains community collaborative and communication efforts.
