Home- Based Services

Home Based Services provides support, training and opportunities for children and adults with mental and physical disabilities to more actively participate in their home, school and community. The program is tailored to meet the needs and wants of the individual and their family.

Program Goals

• Identify and encourage individual talents and personal interests.
• Increase community presence and independence through participation in community life.
• Provide family respite and support.
• Develop and enhance functional, communication, socialization, recreation, and daily living skills of people with disabilities.

Home-Based Services is funded, in part, by the community's contribution to the United Way of the Capital Region.
