Programs and Services

Summer Camps

Camp Manito in New Castle County, and Camp Lenape serving both Kent and Sussex Counties, are for children and young adults (ages 3-21) with orthopedic disabilities. The camps are also open to all children, with or without disabilities.

Through the camp programs, each child is offered a structured program of swimming, music, arts and crafts, sports, and nature study. Each participant is able to realize physical and social growth. With a full staff of nearly thirty counselors and trained volunteers, they instill a sense of belonging and self-confidence to the camper with a disability.

Both camps run for nine weeks, from 7 am to 6 pm.
