Capstone Academy

Capstone Academy is an inclusive educational opportunity for all children from birth to 5 years of age

Capstone Academy is a place where barriers are broken and miracles happen.

Capstone Academy is an inclusive educational opportunity for all children from birth to 5 years of age. Providing a learning environment that will have the greatest impact on early learning for infants and toddlers, it is designed to enhance the opportunity for success as children prepare for kindergarten and first grade.

Our Philosophy . . . Capstone Academy values each child as an important part of our school’s mission. As a family centered setting, we strongly support the role of the family in the development of each child. Our school fills a unique need in the community — allowing children with disabilities to begin their foundation of lifelong learning at the youngest age possible, and enhancing their opportunity for success as they prepare for entry into kindergarten and first grade.

Our Vision . . .Our vision for Capstone Academy is a place where barriers are broken and miracles happen. We are creating a community where everyone touched by a disability can excel, without limitations.

Our Mission . . . Capstone Academy works to develop the full potential within each child by:

þ Serving as the premier provider by offering the highest quality therapeutic, educational, support, and advocacy services to everyone touched by a disability;

þ Providing care with respect, compassion, and dignity;

þ Recruiting, recognizing, developing, and retaining the very best people, paid and volunteer;

þ Valuing diverse persons and open communication; and,

þ Operating efficiently, diversifying funding, and increasing revenue without sacrificing quality of service to students, regardless of their ability to pay.
