Group Respites
Group respites are available to individuals enrolled in the In-Home Respite Program. Group respites are scheduled by the Family Support Department. Usually, group respites are scheduled in coordination with other events, such as the Assistive Technology Fair, Open House, Parents’ Night Out, or parent group meetings.
In order to participate in a group respite, a family member must R.S.V.P by the requested date so that arrangements can be made by the department for adequate staff to be present. The staff to student ratio for group respites is no more that four to one.
