Supported Living

UCP of Oregon and SW Washington is dedicated to helping people with disabilites live as independently as possible. One way we achieve this goal is through our Supported Living program, which currently serves approximately 25 individuals.

The people involved in this program live in their own homes and apartments throughout the Portland area. The level of support we provide depends on the needs of each individual. Most commonly, we help people with personal care, health issues, finances, and accessing their community.

The people we support are very proud to be living independently. Many of them have come from group living situations that did not allow for many choices or chances to enhance their lives.

UCP is committed to providing the people we support with the opportunity to live and work within the community at large and not in segregated situations.

Job Opportunities in Supported Living

In addition to the support received from UCP staff, many of the people we support have help from roommates and personal assistants. If you are interested in a position as a care provider of this type, please select one of the options below.
