Donate Your Vehicle
By donating your car, truck, boat, motorcycle, aircraft, golf cart, ATV or RV to UCP's Vehicle Donation Program:
- You’ll be spared the ordeal of selling your vehicle.
- You may receive greater value for your vehicle as a charitable contribution on your itemized tax return.
- You’ll make a valuable contribution to help children and adults with developmental disabilities in our community.

For vehicles in re-saleable condition, UCP utilizes the services of Cars for Charity, a local organization that provides retail and wholesale ownership transfer of your donated vehicle – THIS MEANS A MUCH HIGHER TAX REBATE FOR YOU! All paperwork and transfer hassles are taken off your shoulders and you get to support the people of UCP at the same time! For vehicles in poor condition, UCP works with Speed's Supertow to pick up your donated vehicle, complete the paperwork, and sell it at a weekly auction. Speed’s auctions are held every Tuesday, rain or shine! Viewing starts at 9am and the auction starts at 11am. Buyers must register to bid, and the auction is open to the public. Note to Donors: UCP strongly recommends that if you donate a registered vehicle to UCP that you visit the DMV for the state it is registered in and declare (using their 2 minute online form) that the vehicle has been donated. This prevents potential ownership transfer issues once the vehicle has changed hands via auction or resale. To fill out the form for your state visit:
