About UCP

For over half a century UCP Central PA (UCP) has been meeting the needs of individuals of all ages with all types of disabilities and special needs, from pediatric to geriatric. In 2009 alone, UCP provided services and programs for more than 3,500 children and adults with a wide range of conditions and diagnoses, not just cerebral palsy. We’ve offered support to strengthen these families as well.

UCP currently provides both community and center-based programs and services in 16 Central Pennsylvania counties:

Centre, Colombia, Cumberland, Dauphin, Huntingdon, Juniata, Lancaster, Lebanon, Lycoming, Mifflin, Montour, Northern York, Northumberland, Perry, Snyder, and Union counties
and operates from 21 facilities: the Capital Area Children's Center, thirteen adult day programs, six community homes, and an apartment complex. Just as important, UCP offers hope… the hope of a life well-lived and without limits.
