History
Since our founding in 1980, United Cerebral Palsy of the Mid-South has been committed to change and progress for persons with disabilities. As an affiliate of United Cerebral Palsy, we strive to ensure the inclusion of persons with disabilities in every facet of society—from the Web to the workplace, from the classroom to the community. We measure success through our ability to advance the independence, productivity and full citizenship of people with disabilities.
While our specific programs and services have changed over the years, our singular focus remains unchanged. From small programs targeting a handful of participants we have grown into a multifaceted organization driven by strategic partnerships with government, corporate, and non-profit allies.
