Children's Services

All parents recognize that raising children is a challenge. And that challenge is even greater for parents of children with disabilities. The addition of physical and/or mental limitations creates a dramatically different parenting experience where even basic tasks are far more difficult to accomplish. In Shelby County, there are an estimated 11,000 children with at least one disability. These special children need special programs and services to develop their cognitive and gross/fine motor skills and achieve their goals.
