UCP Days
2009 UCP Days: Fridays for FamiliesPresented by:![]() |
UCP Ability Days takes place on Fridays throughout June.
United Cerebral Palsy invites you to join dozens of businesses in the Dane County area by participating in our 18th annual workplace fundraising event, UCP Days. This is a great way for your company to boost employee morale while supporting hundreds of children and families throughout Southern Wisconsin.
Here are some great ways you can participate. Choose one or more of these – or take your own ideas and run with them!
- Show You Care by What You Wear – A simple, fun way for your company to support UCP. Participating companies order t-shirts and other merchandise for staff to wear on their event day to show support for area children and adults with developmental disabilities. Some companies also allow employees to “dress casual” by wearing jeans or sneakers in exchange for a donation.
- Go Green For UCP – Participants receive donation boxes and collect used ink cartridges, old cell phones and laptops to recycle and raise money for UCP.
- Fun for a Cause – Other successful ideas have included various benefits to raise funds and show their support: hold a bake sale, set out a donation canister, raffle a prize, pledge to walk laps at lunchtime or have your own auction. Employees can also purchase items from UCP or make a direct donation. Be creative—do it your way!
- Fridays for Families – lunch event benefiting UCP. Choose a Friday for your company to participate and order lunch from the menu UCP provides featuring local restaurants. Collect $10 from each person who orders lunch and sit back and relax, the UCP staff will deliver your lunch to you.
