Meet Randi Johnson

LabelIntroducing Randi Johnson - Your Disability Navigator

My name is Randi Johnson and I work for Workforce Resource as a Disability Navigator. The disability navigator tor project is a collaborative project of the Local Workforce Investment Board in West Central Wisconsin. This project seeks to have a positive impact on job seekers with disabilities, employers and Job Center partner agencies in the next 18 months.

Picture of Disability Navigator Randi Johnson My background: I have come into this project with 22 years of experience in the nonprofit field. I also have three and a half years working with prior authorizations in the insurance field for a local durable medical equipment company. I have two bachelor's degrees in Organizational Communications with a concentration in Public Relations and English from the University Wisconsin-Eau Claire.

As a Disability Navigator, I will be working with people with disabilities who are looking for work for the first time, returning to work, or trying to retain work. My job will be to assist in accessing resources, information and services available in order for customers to meet their own employment goals. I will also be available to serve as a resource for employers and Job Center partner agencies in providing technical assistance, training and support on disability-related issues and concerns. A laptop computer will also allow me to demonstrate screen magnification software, as well as voice input and output software at each Job Center.

I am excited about this project and look forward to meeting you. If you have any questions, or would like to contact me, I can be reached directly at:
