Christmas Casual Day
-
December 11, 2009
United Cerebral Palsy provides services to people with disabilities throughout more than 32 counties in central and southern Alabama. Every month, over 700 families use these services.By offering more than a dozen programs, UCP is able to provide assistance to parents of infants with disabilities just as easily as we provide employment assistance to adults with disabilities. Some of our other programs include: early intervention, speech therapy, physical therapy, respite, preschool, and summer camp.
In order to continue to provide these services, UCP relies on the support of our community, and for our 11th straight Holiday Season, our preschoolers are asking you to participate in UCP’s Christmas Casual Day.
This event asks businesses to allow their employees to come to work in casual clothes, in exchange for a contribution to UCP. Everyone who donates $15 dollars or more (depending on shirt size) will receive a green, long sleeve T-shirt featuring the artwork, .
This design was created by several of our incredible students - with a little help from their teachers. We hope you enjoy it, and we remind you that these T-shirts make excellent gifts.
