Assistive Technology

Assistive equipment can often be financially straining on families of children with disabilities. That is why UCP of Huntsville and Tennessee Valley provides assistance through several technology and loan equipment programs. Services include evaluation, training, technical assistance, and short- and long-term loans. The SHARE program is UCP's local loan program, while the STAR Waste Not Program offers equipment statewide. In addition, T.A.S.C. offers augmentative communication and computer access devices for loan on a short-term basis.
