About UCP
United Cerebral Palsy of San Francisco was founded in 1951, and UCP of Alameda and Contra Costa Counties in 1952. In May of 1999, the two joined to form UCP of the Golden Gate, a network of support, information, and innovation that spans the San Francisco Bay. We assist thousands each year, representing a wide variety of disabilities as well as all of the diversity of our community.
