About UCP

United Cerebral Palsy of San Joaquin, Calaveras and Amador Counties, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations, has advocated for children and adults with cerebral palsy and other disabilities since its incorporation and charter began with United Cerebral Palsy Associations in 1954.

In the following years, UCP programs expanded dramatically to support community need. Supported employment and respite services were established in 1988. In 1992, a new Adult Activity Center in Manteca opened and a new facility on Benjamin Holt replaced the Barnett House accommodating the expanding organization. Today, we support 12 programs with over 2000 consumers!

Our newest expansion of services has occurred July 1, 2007, with the opening of our satellite office in San Andreas, providing Respite and Assistive Technologies local services to Calaveras, Amador & Tuolumne Counties!
