Family Support

UCP offers several programs to help the family work more smoothly as a unit. UCP's After School Care programs give parents the security of knowing that their children are in a safe and appropriate environment, while waiting for Mom or Dad to pick them up. In addition, UCP's In-Home Respite Care workers give family members needed time off for themselves, to run errands, go to doctor's appointments—to do all those things it seems don't get done in the normal 24-hour day of caring for someone with a disbility.
