Meet the Staff
Diane Wilush, Executive Director
Diane Wilush came to UCP of Georgia in 1994 (when it was UCP of Greater Atlanta) and has overseen tremendous growth in Georgia. Diane has more than 20 years of experience in the field of developmental disabilities.
Kevin Walton, Associate Executive Director for Residential Programs
Kevin oversees all of the UCP-owned and operated homes throughout the state, as well as subcontracted homes to which UCP provides administrative oversight. He is also responsible for personal support efforts, in which UCP sends staff to provide assistance with activities of daily living in the family homes of individuals with developmental disabilities.
Beverly Boone, Associate Executive Director for Day Programs
Beverly Boone is the Associate Director for day programs and support services for UCP of Georgia. Her responsibilities include UCP's children's programs, adult day programs, nursing, behavior support, training, and quality assurance.
Laura Heise, CPA, Director of Finance
Laura heads up the Finance Department which handles all of the financial transactions for both companies, including receipts, disbursements, payroll, and financial reporting. Responsible for setting financial policies and procedures with an emphasis on internal control. Acts as liaison between UCP of GA and its external auditor.
Shemeka Pollard, Director of Human Resources
Shemeka oversees the functions of the Human Resources Department including recruitment, employee relations, training, safety, benefits, performance management and ensuring compliance with all legal requirements.
Angela Easter, Director of Advocacy and Operations
Angela leads UCP’s advocacy efforts both with state legislators and individually with people who face obstacles navigating DD service delivery systems. She also oversees UCP’s Operations and Maintenance departments that provide technical and physical plant support to employees and individuals receiving services.
