Residential

UCP of Central Maryland’s residential services provide barrier-free housing, personal care assistance, and life skills training for adults with disabilities in agency-owned or leased single-family homes and apartments throughout the state. Each home is modified by UCP-CM to ensure handicapped accessibility in order to meet individual needs. Residential services and supports are provided 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
Individuals receiving residential services work with their team members to develop an Individual Plan, which identifies goals and objectives that focus on personal needs and desires. Teams consist of various relevant professionals, service providers, family, friends, and anyone else the individual chooses to include. Together all facets of life, from medical to recreational needs, are evaluated and methods to achieve optimum health are created.
Individuals are assisted and encouraged to do as much for themselves as possible, and each home reflects the personalities of those who live there. UCP-CM doesn’t merely provide housing, it provides the supports necessary to enable the individuals to become more productive members of their community.
All homes operated by UCP-CM are inspected and licensed by Maryland’s Office of Health Care Quality (OHCQ). Additional announced and unannounced inspections are conducted by representatives of the Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA).
*All UCP-CM Residential sites are fully licensed by the Maryland Office of Health Care Quality.*There are currently no additional UCP Services listed for your area.
