Dear Friend of UCP of Southern Maryland:
I am excited to inform you that planning is underway for the United Cerebral Palsy's 4th Annual Golf Challenge. This event will raise funds to support UCP's operations and programs. Through the support of golfers, sponsors, families and friends we are able to raise money to uphold UCP's high standards and quality services. It is UCP's goal to positively affect the quality of life for persons with developmental disabilities and to provide multiple service needs to the families and caregivers.
United Cerebral Palsy of Southern Maryland's Golf Challenge will be held at South River Golf Links in Edgewater, Maryland on Friday September 18, 2009. The Golf Challenge will include a Silent Auction. We have netted $20,000 at our past tournements and our goal this year is to net $30,000.
To accomplish this goal we need your help. We are asking that you consider supporting the 4th Annual UCP Golf Challenge as a golfer or sponsor. It is open to both experienced and casual golfers. Sponsorship levels range from $250 to $1,500. The Silent Auction will provide golfers and their spouses and friends with another opportunity to support UCP. It will feature sports memorabilia, restaurant gift certificates, and more. In addition, we are in need of donations to include in the golfer's gift bags. We are currently accepting sponsorships, donations, and registrations for individual golfers and foursomes. These are all great ways to promote your business and show your support to United Cerebral Palsy of Southern Maryland.
As a special incentive golfers who sign up prior to August 15, 2009 will receive a free fairway mulligan!
