Family Support
UCP Michigan knows that people with disabilities and their families will have to work hard to get the services they need, and that parents of children with cerebral palsy and other disabilities need information and support as they search for answers and services. UCP wants to be there for parents and for people with disabilities when they need information about their rights and how to get the services and equipment they need.
If your child has been diagnosed with cerebral palsy or another disability, the following documents may be of interest to you:
- Information Every Parent Must Know
- Advocacy Tools: Family and Individual Advocacy, take from UCP Nationa's website
- Child Safety Tips for Parents
- Parents As Advocates
Vist UCP Michigan's Resources section for more information about resources that may be available to you.
